Project Briefing
Project 1 - 20% - Individual
Timeframe: Week 01 - Week 06
Deadline: Week 06
1. Physical Collage Design (10%)
- Create a themed collage with layers of images, applying design principles and composition fundamentals.
2. Digital Imaging (10%)
- Compost different images into one final output by using Adobe Photoshop. (2x exercise)
Requirements
- Submit progress updates weekly
- Capture screenshots to show step-by-step progression (at least 10 steps) in creating the artwork in Photoshop
- Compile the images, screenshots, and descriptions of each step in a PDF

Working Process
During the first week, I reviewed the brief for this task to get a clear understanding of the requirements. I took detailed notes, which will help me manage my time and stay organized throughout the project.

EXERCISE
For this week's homework, I am required to set up my personal eBlog on Blogspot and a new board on Pinterest. I also finished the assigned Google Docs, which lists down my three favorite graphic designs from Pinterest. For each design, I will need to explain why I am drawn to them.

I love how the creator uses a minimalistic style, such as clear lines and simple colors, to vividly convey instructions, clearly showing the work trip essentials and placement preview. Shows how the clarity of design in communicating the necessary information.

I love how the creator uses different colour combinations boldly. Even though the saturation of each colour is high, each element blends and works together remarkably well. Every piece of Asian furniture is nice and fine, which makes people feel related.

I love how the creator uses the complementary colours of blue and red for this poster. This combination creates a strong visual impact, making it more eye-catching and full of passion and energy, which I think perfectly shows the theme ‘Spread the Love.’ I also love the use of grain texture in this artwork, it enhances the overall artistic and makes it more unique, The content conveyed by the poster is expressed very clearly, leaving a lasting impression.
