LECTURE

Intro to After Effects

1. Purpose: A 2.5D animation tool for motion graphics, visual effects, and compositing in post-production. 
2. Features: Combines video, images, and effects; manipulates vector and raster art; integrates photos and videos. 
3. Compositing:

• Photoshop: Arrange and rename layers for animation prep. 
• After Effects: Imports media (images, videos, vectors) linked from external platforms like Photoshop/Illustrator.
